Just a night after my graduation ceremony in Cainta elementary school, my mom and I set up all the furniture and other appliances for moving it to our new home in Quezon City. During that time, I thought I would spend my vacation in Cainta and pursue my secondary study there. I felt sad that it would be happen anymore. What should I do? Just move on.

Since I’m here now in Quezon City, I must find a better school to continue my study. In the financial situation of my family, I’m cannot afford the tuition fees in the private schools such as New Era University, St. James Colleges, Ateneo de Manila…hehehe[ambisyoso kasi ako!]. so I just consider New Era High School, kasi, puro mga ‘kapatid’ ang mga nag-aaral doon… mga iglesia ni cristo member. However, nung enrolment day that time masyadong maglo kasi andaming nag-enroll. And I heard from other enrollees that the school might not accept students which are not residing in barangay Culiat and new era. Oooh so ganun pala ang mangyayari ata. Anyway I decided to go to Culiat High School.

Unlike in NESH, the flow of enrollment is smooth. Kaya sandali lang ako dun sa Culiat. Just before twelve noon. Just in time.

Then as a first year student, I am scared and nervous, like I always do. Lalu na nung mapabilang ako sa class section 2. So much pressure talaga. Yun nga lang hindi ko din pinagbuti kaya nung nagsecond year ako medyo bumaba ung class section ko. Adviser teacher namin si mam crisanta gurango, English subject ang tinuturo niya.

Mga classmates? [sana may matandaan pa ako]

Salvador fontanilla, luis macasinag, raymund elliares, roman Lawrence fortes, joy esquejo, princess tahara abantas, rachelle ang, irwen bigno, dodie karl nicanor, Jeffrey maraño, dennis martirez, …

The best thing I can remember in that year e nung matapos ung first high school-Christmas party ko, naging audience kami ng Today With Kris Aquino for the whole month ng December. Wa kasawa!

Second Year – Sir Joel Espina, Social Studies subject. Section 4.

Classmates: my ever loyal Raymond rusiana, lilet cuyco, christopherson sonza, Jeffrey maraño, dodie karl nicanor, Jennifer yacap, mary grace malcontento, coralyn orsal, ….

Pero the best experience ko noon ung nag-excursion kami sa bulacan. And ito din ung year na first time kong hindi umattend ng Christmas party.

Third Year – Mrs. Domingo, Chemistry subject, Section 4 ulit.

Fourth year – Sir Favila, Math subject. Section 3.
